Would you be so kind as to point out ONE combination of stock MTD and YAFFS2
that will work together out of the box? I have not built yaffs in a while but
have been monitoring this group and I believe Sergey is correct here.

Sergey may have a bit of an attitude problem but that does not change the
validity of his message: yaffs2 and mtd do not work together out of the box, 
the user must hack one or the other, just put the damn patch and instructions 
into yaffs repository so that everyone does not have to figure out the guts 
of mtd/yaffs for himself. That would do a great deal of service to the yaffs
community and relieve this newsgroup from messages like "yaffs marked all blocks
as bad", "my files dissapeared after remount", etc.
