1.4 Requirements for running NetworkLinks

To use Network Links you will need:

  • An Ethernet card fitted in the network or expansion card slot.

  • An Aleph One or Acorn PC Card, either an expansion card or secondprocessor card.

  • !PC (or !PCx86) software version 1.80 or later. (Versions called!386PC and !PC486 are too early)

  • PC-side networking software of your choice that can support anNE2000 card. Virtually all software can do this.

Both PCNE2 and the Ethernet driver need the MbufManager module tomanage memory for them.
