Hi Charles,
Thanks you for your response. I did Like you said, and it worked like a charm :).
But I have always the same problem. In fact, when I write system.img file ( generated by android in yaffs format ) in system partition with write.yaffs uboot command, the command lasts only few seconds and when I boot to Android the partition is mounted but it is empty ( containing lost+found directory ).

I tried also with nand write command and the partition is always empty.
I have no clue about the origin of the problem. Could you help me get through ?

Thank you for your help.

There is a yaffs "glue-layer" for u-boot in yaffs git.

Yaffs is also in more recent versions of u-boot. It is very much a modular addition and it should be easy to port it into pretty much any version of u-boot. You might need to do a bit of fiddling,

So there are two options available to you....

Hi,
I am trying to port yaffs2 to ti-am335x Android u-boot.
After doing some research, I think that this is not done before.
Is it possible to user direct uboot patches available in yaffs2 git repository ?
If it is possible, with which uboot version is it compatible ?

Regards,
Bilel
