Hi,

I found my problem.  It was due to following parameters:
        CYGNUM_FS_YAFFS_START
        CYGNUM_FS_YAFFS_END
I had to configure them in order to use the whole nand flash.

No, that's just my problem.

I have a 265MByte nand flash.  The files I put on the flash are approximately 10kByte.  After 50 files, I get already this garbage collection, even on a fully erased flash drive.  After I have this, it's getting not workable anymore because of the continuous garbage collection.

This is the garbage collector working.

You have not provided many details but I expect this is happening with a
reasonably full device.
